L.E.C. Informational Meeting w/State Jail Inspector and Northland Securities Reps - 10 AM

YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS SPECIAL INFORMATIONAL MEETING!! Guest speaker Delbert Longley, Iowa State Department of Corrections Lead Jail Inspector, will provide information on the current jail standards, the shortcomings of the current Floyd Co jail that have been "grandfathered" in order to remain open, and what happens when a jail loses its grandfathering/compliance. Guest speaker Jeff Heil, Northland Securities will provide information about the bond process. After soaking in all this information, take a break for lunch and then join Sheriff Crooks for a tour of the jail at 1 p.m.
