National Career Readiness Certificate
Floyd County recognizes the National Career Readiness Certificate Program offered through IowaWorks. In 2014, Floyd County became a Skilled Iowa business, joining 11,000 businesses in Iowa that are taking a stand and recommending job candidates measure and upgrade their skill level. Over 50,000 Iowans have earned a NCRC. Nationally, NCRC is being used by businesses in 42 states as a tool to identify skilled applicants and their potential to grow with additional on-the-job or classroom training. For more information on how to obtain a NCRC, contact Iowa Works at (641)422-1524, ext 44521.
